By creating an account and using Voltahub, you agree to these terms. Dutch law applies to these terms. Voltahub is a free software platform: we don't sell equipment, so sections about that (purchase agreements, warranty, delivery times, right of withdrawal) don't apply here.

Definitions

• Platform — the website, the account and all functionality of Voltahub.
• User — you, the person who creates an account and uses the platform.
• Integration — a connection to a device, brand or platform of a third party, which you activate yourself.

Your account

• You provide accurate information when creating your account.
• You keep your login details secret and use a strong password.
• You are responsible for activity through your account. If you suspect misuse, contact us.
• We may restrict or delete an account in case of misuse or violation of these terms. Where reasonable, we'll let you know in advance.

Using the platform

• You use the platform for personal, non-commercial purposes.
• You don't commercially exploit the platform (resale, rental) without written permission.
• You don't use the platform for anything unlawful or harmful to others.

Reliability of forecasts and advice

• Forecasts (such as expected generation and usage) are estimates, based on among other things weather forecasts and your own historical data. They're compared to reality afterwards, but remain an estimate, not a guarantee.
• Energy advice and the energy plan are suggestions based on those forecasts and your own patterns. They don't account for every circumstance (such as outages, weather changes or unusual usage) and are not professional financial or technical advice.
• We're not liable for damage, missed savings or other consequences of decisions you base on a forecast or advice, particularly not for decisions with financial or safety consequences.

Third-party integrations

• Connecting devices and platforms may also be subject to the terms of the integration itself. Voltahub is not a party to those terms.
• We have no control over the availability or correct functioning of third-party integrations and can't guarantee it.
• When connecting an integration, data may be exchanged with that third party. See our privacy policy for more information.

Personal data

How we handle your personal data is described in our privacy policy. By agreeing to these terms, you confirm you've read it.

Liability

We do our best to keep the platform reliable, but can't guarantee it's always available without interruption or errors. We're not liable for damage arising from using the platform, unless there's intent or gross negligence on our part.

Termination

You can cancel your account at any time. These terms remain in effect as long as you use the platform and lapse once your account is deleted.

Changes

We may amend these terms. We'll let you know in advance of any significant change, so you have the chance to respond before it takes effect.
